KAYALI Vanilla Rock Sugar is a bright, playful vanilla - think sparkling sugar crystals rather than warm bakery vanilla. On first spray, it opens very sweet and airy, almost fizzy, like candied sugar with a light fruity edge. It doesn't smell heavy or syrupy. As it settles, the sweetness softens into a creamy vanilla with a gentle musk that keeps it from becoming sticky-sweet. This is not a deep, boozy, or smoky vanilla. If you love rich, grown-up vanillas like Kayali Vanilla 28 or bourbon-style scents, this may feel too light. If you enjoy youthful, clean gourmands, this is extremely wearable and easy to reach for. On my skin, it lasts about 4-5 hours, but longer on clothing. Projection is moderate. It's best for daytime wear, casual outings, and layering with deep vanillas or amber scents. I would skip this if you dislike sugar or candy type fragrances. Overall, this is a fun, crowd-pleasing vanilla that layers beautifully and feels youthful without being childish.
