This paddle is very easy to transport and store, and it's great on the water. The spoons are large and just slightly curved so you get an easy entry, an effective stroke and a low splash exit from the water. The shaft comes apart into two pieces for easy storing and transport. It's very adjustable and can be sized for children all the way through to adult size. It uses a push button connection that's secure and doesn't have any wobble. The shaft also comes with the anti drip rings already installed. This arrived in four pieces, 2 spoons and 2 shaft pieces. It included three sets of bolts with locking nuts. (You need two sets. They included an extra.) The package also included the necessary Philips head screwdriver and an assembly instruction sheet. Assembly took less than two minutes. This comes with a bag that's fine for storing the paddle, but even though it has a carry strap, it's impractical because the weight of the shafts pulls them down and it hangs weirdly. Still, it's great for storage and for protecting your spoons. Also, if you wanted to fully disassemble the paddle it will all fit quite nicely in the bag and the bag has a drawstring top. You'll just need a way to keep the nuts and bolts, and the screwdriver from getting lost. I plan to do this and just get a small dry box to put them in that I can drop into the bag too. Overall this is a great paddle and the price is very reasonable for such a nice piece of gear.

I picked up this kayak paddle for a small kayak setup and overall it has worked really well. The adjustable length is a nice feature and makes it easy to fine tune depending on the kayak or how I want to use it. The matte black finish feels comfortable in the hands and gives it a more solid feel compared to cheaper glossy paddles. It is lightweight enough to handle easily but still feels sturdy during use. I also like that it breaks down and stores without taking up much space. Overall it feels well made and has been a good paddle for casual kayaking and small boat use, just make sure the center snap locks in fully.

This is about $22 at the time of this review but you can get it with a coupon for a little bit less. There's a tiny bit of building needed with basically two screws and two nuts but they give you three screws and three nuts with loctite... The rest of it is easy adjustments. It include a carry bag. The water drip rings were a little deformed but not bad enough to worry about function. Overall I like it's portability and the bag and being able to make them shorter and then the ability to make them quite a bit longer when needed and the secure fit when they get put together. I really needed this spare one after one in my set of two floated off down the river...
