I really love the pattern, and I LOVE the fact that it matches my rope bag, but... let’s be honest here people - there is some sort of design flaw going on here. Cards won’t stay in it. The spaces are just too loose perhaps? After seeing my wallet, a stranger started asking me if I had the same problem, and we commiserated on how we have almost lost our debit/credit cards because of how poorly the spaces hold cards. Now, we ALL know with other wallets where if you stretch it out, you can’t go back. I never stretched this one out to start with! So, now I keep all of my cards in the same section as my driver’s license, and occasionally I still have to pick my debit or credit card off of the ground because they just all spill out. Now, after saying all of this, I’ll let you know that I still carry it as my wallet... simply because it matches my Kavu rope bag, and I have OCD issues like that.

It's ok. I got it to match my rope bag which it does. But the functionality is not great. It's very loose, not really much going on to stop everything from just falling out even when snapped shut. Not enough card slots but a huge area devoted for... A checkbook. Yup. In this day and age with their youthful target audience they put a very lovely check book slot (complete with a pen holder). Also it's very hard to get the ID out, there's no thumb hope in the plastic so you get to try to wedge half your hand in the get your ID out...

Love the look of these wallets but upon its arrival like other reviews noted, the credit card pockets were loose and the clasp to close the entire wallet was a magnet that I felt could have opened quiet easily on top of cards potentially falling out. Because of those two reasons, I decided to return the wallet. If there was a zipper option or tighter card slots, I would defiantly buy it!

I love these wallets and this is the second one I've purchased because of the pattern. The only complaint I've had is there are not enough credit card slots, but, I'm sure I could find some inserts on Amazon too. But, the quality of the material is really good and I love the usually unique material patterns offered. I love Kavu's so much this is my second set of purses and wallets. I have had the first set for about two years and the purse only has a small hole where I must've caught it on something. The only reason I bought the second set is because I'm a flamingo freak and fell in love with this print. Otherwise, my first set would still be going strong. But, the wallets are good at taking a beating too. I'm pretty rough on my wallets since I'm on the go a lot. Normally they last me about a year before I wear them out.

This wallet is the perfect size. It has an ID and 5 card slots. There are also 2 big pockets to store others/ paper right underneath the card area if needed. Theres also a pen holder inside and the pocket in the middle holds my Samsung s8 plus perfectly. Like a little clutch. Material is cloth and really well put together. Plus, the waves pattern is absolutely beautiful in person. Such vibrant colors.

Like the wallet itself -- the pockets, light weight, design, etc. -- but I bought the solid black one and it collects all kinds of lint, quickly. If you have pets that shed, particularly, you should think twice about this color. I recommend that KAVU use a different, slicker cotton for all of their all-black wallets and bags (I have a solid black Sydney Satchel Bag, too; same problem). Also, the snap for the closing flap could be a little tighter. It's a little too easy to open. Given these problems, I doubt I'll be using the wallet or bag much, if at all. Too much of a hassle to keep them looking nice.

I read all the reviews about this wallet before purchasing. I knew what I was getting myself into! There were complaints about the card slots being too big however, I have quite a few cards and so layering them in the slots has been great! I haven't lost anything, the magnet holds well, it holds everything I need it to hold! I gave it 4 stars because of the material. I haven't owned it long, yet there are rub marks where the magnet sits. It is clearly visible on the front of the wallet. That's a bummer, but other than that I am pleased!
