I am very pleased with the size of this bag! It is perfect for my needs. A file folder and/or tablet easily fits inside if needed for meetings. I love that there is only ONE strap; so tired of handbags with two straps and one constantly falling off the shoulder. There is an additional strap included, but it is not my style. The exterior pockets are fabulous. This bag is a good balance of flexible yet sturdy...all without the weight of a heavier bag. I usually wear a Brahmin Finley for work, but it is heavy...and too big to double as a tote for shopping. Hence the search for something more versatile. The main question: Is it leather?? Not sure. It definitely does not have the leather "smell" of my Patricia Nash satchel. However, I think the size is perfect and the strap stays on my shoulder...all while I can load it up with work items or funday items. I will probably get the blue one for summer. ... show more

I don't know how many stars to give this bag. The bag I received is good qality and seems well-made. I can easily carry my wallet, makeup, phone, and keys plus I have plenty of room for a few books, a tablet, and a sandwich. The labels cause me to worry about how durable and water-resistant the item is, however. I've attached photos of the tag (front and back) that concern me. It looks as if the manufacturer didn't pay for professional translation. I'm concerned the bag will mold on the first rainy day. I know better than to oil leather daily, but the tag indicates I should do this. Is the company trying to tell me the leather will almost certainly crack, even with normal wear in typical conditions and it's my fault if that happens because I should oil it daily? And with what type of oil? The instructions say "the oil." There's no oil that comes with the bag. I need to buy oil. Neatsfoot oil? Mink oil? Something else? It seems there's a thin plastic finish in the leather, which is common in leather goods. Why is so much oil necessary? Honestly, I don't think it is, but all this points to the manufacturer not being confident in this product or they refuse to pay for translation or both, which again makes it seem as though the company doesn't focus on making a good product and cut costs to the detriment of customers seeking care information. The reverse of the care tag seems to dare someone to burn this item to gain assurance that it's made of real leather. I worked in a testing lab and regularly worked with products manufactured to comply with ISO standards. The ISO standard the tag references doesn't exist. Again, I see a lack of professionalism and respect for the customer. I have a doctorate in English, and I had to look up "villous," and found it refers to the hairy surface of a paramecium or similar single-celled organism. Leather is not villous, although the impending mold may be. I have no plans to ignite my purse to see if I can knead the resulting ash into flour. And flour for what? Bread? Why would I eat ash from something that may be leather? For the love of everything that is holy, make a quality product you believe in, and pay a competent translator. Also, reference standards that actually exist. Your customers aren't stupid. ... show more

    • The purse feels expensive!
The media could not be loaded. This purse is really nice, very impressed. I bought it for my sister for Christmas and I’m not gonna lie, I’m jealous that I’m giving it away. So the purse has about four pockets on the outside and only two pockets, the back and front, with the metal clasp. The inside doesn’t have any pockets but comes with a bag that is not attached to the purse itself. When you open that bag it does have a smaller pocket with a zipper. I actually love this because I usually carry a separate bag with my purses to carry tampons and other necessary things. The separate bag is more of a shiny fabric but the actual purse does smell and feel like leather! The inside of the purse is like suede patches sewn together and feels and looks very nice. I’m super impressed and wasn’t expecting to like this as much I did! I would recommend the purse and maybe don’t buy it as a gift haha! ... show more

Kattee Women's Cowhide Leather Tote Shoulder Bag Hobo Handbag (Orange) I love this purse. The leather is thick, sturdy, and high quality. The shoulder strap is wide, comfortable and does not slip off my shoulder. I've been searching for a bag like this for a long time. I am 5'1" and most tote bags are too large for me. This is a perfect size for me. The side, outer pocket is perfect for my phone to be readily available. It comes with an inner black bag for organizing your items, which I did not use, as I had a different bag of my own that I am using to keep my small things in. This purse can hold a lot! I carry a lot, and I still have room for a tablet, an umbrella, I can throw my lunch bag in it. I just love it. It is extremely sturdy and well made and I'm sure it will last a very long time and the leather will get finer with age. I'm so tempted to order the black one as well because it took me so long to find a purse of this style that worked this well for me. I highly recommend this tote bag! ... show more

    • No pockets inside.
Good stiff leather, easy to pick up and very strong. But as I said no pockets and the bags inside is not attached and it really doesn't help.
