I ordered my normal size (seemed to align with the chart) but these loafers fit tighter in width than most, especially with anything thicker than trouser socks. Also, the chain across the toes is heavy and makes more noise/movement than I care for (I'm easily distracted and this is a weird distraction when I'm walking). The materials seem to be quality, and the overall construction seems durable, but so far I've only worn them once for a couple hours only due to the issues described.

This is my first time trying out a Kate Spade shoe. I'm a huge fan of the bags! But I've never worn the shoes before. And I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to try this one! The Leandra loafer is beautiful! It works well with so many different outfits, from jeans to dresses. The quality is exactly what you'd expect from Kate Spade - AMAZING!! If you have wide feet, though, this is not the shoe for you. I don't have wide feet and it still took wearing these with some thick socks in the house to really break them in properly for me. If you have a narrow foot, I think they will fit you right out of the box immediately.

I'm posting a picture of my shoe closet so that you can see I am a true shoe gal fanatic. I appreciate all spectrum's of the foot wear world, whether cute no-name flip flops to shoes that have a first and last name and cost as much as my monthly mortgage payment. That's how shoe obsessed I am. I'd say Carrie Bradshaw is my spirit animal, but I would have never put up with all the crap she did from Mr. Big for years... Shoes never cheat on you. That's why they are better than men. Anyways, as to this shoe: The Kate Spade Leandra Loafer in black. I tend to usually judge Kate a little harsher than others. That's because I know the quality they can deliver so they have their own score card. So, there's judge a Kate Spade shoe against another shoe grading which Kate almost always comes out on top. And then there's judge a Kate Spade shoe against the history of their great shoes. This one is up there for both style and comfort. Whomever is on their design staff always knows how to combine adorable cute with a professional classy look. These loafers are priced at $198 which is exactly in the medium scale of their shoe price points (most of their loafers sell for $248). So, I find this very reasonably priced compared to some of their others. And still less money than most Tory Burch loafers that are priced up to $348. These will be a fall favorite for me. 5 well deserved stars. A+ grade.

I got these in Black in size 6.5. They look just like the photos and fit true to size. They're well made, all the seams are well done and the materials are attached well to one another. They are standard width but are a little snug. I'd size up if you have wide feet. They're patent leather, so they're a very stiff material. They'll take some time to break in. These shoes are super easy to pair with a variety of outfits. I know these are going to become some of my favorite shoes this autumn.
