Ordered these bulbs and they are seriously bright! Love them! However, I had to order a new housing later because the plastic had broken, and after replacing the old housing with the new housing, the new bulb didn't fit. So I'm trying to figure out what went wrong. I have a bright driver's side with the old housing and a dim passenger side with a new housing. Go figure. If someone could give me some advice I would appreciate it. ... show more

I put these KATANA bulbs in my Honda Pilot and they work great. The fit was spot-on, truly plug-and-play with no issues. The beam pattern is sharp and evenly spread, giving me much better visibility at night compared to stock halogens. They throw a crisp 6500K white light that looks modern without being blinding to oncoming traffic. Build quality feels solid and I haven’t had to replace a single one yet. I've got a '90 Econoline Uhaul truck that came from the previous guy with a set of cheap reflector housings in place of the old sealed beam lamps. They were about as bright as a candle in front of a makeup mirror due to the halogen bulbs being cooked to a crisp by an over-charging voltage regulator on the alternator (They were getting about 17.6v when they were on). After replacing the regulator I popped down to ****zone and saw they were asking over 15 per bulb for the cheapest halogen H4 replacements, so for less money I ordered the cheapest LED kit I could (This one, the Katana) and it's great. I've bought a bunch of LED kits for a bunch of cars, and they've all been pretty much the same. These ones are no better or worse than sets Ive paid double for. The mounting rings installed easy under the spring retainers on the lights, the LED module installed easily to the mounting rings, the low-beam reflectors were oriented correctly with no fidgeting. Didn't interfere with the dust boots on my lights, plugged right into the harness, Lo and Hi no problem, no flickering, bright af, night and day (haha.....) difference. Unless they don't last, I've got nothing to complain about for literally less than the price of halogen replacement. If you picked up this truck from uhaul in 1990 with these lights installed, you would think it came from space. ... show more

Positives: The headlights look good and work well. I’ve only had them on for a day so far. It was a very easy install -took maybe 6-7 minutes total to install both lights. Negative: I drove around for about 30 minutes this evening and noticed some subtle flickering and some obvious fluctuation in brightness. While stopped at lights and such, I noticed the lights were flickering a little but not obnoxiously like I’ve seen on other cars. While parked and driving, occasionally there would be a second or less of brighter light and then go back to normal brightness. I plan to keep them for now, but if they continue to fluctuate I may just bite the bullet and spend money on a higher quality bulb. I am pleased by the overall quality for the price, but you get what you pay for. I’d praise the light if it didn’t flicker and fluctuate. ... show more
