I picked up this KastKing fillet knife for weekend fishing trips, and it’s been awesome so far. The blade is super sharp and flexible, which makes filleting really easy. It’s a good size—big enough to handle decent-sized fish, but not bulky. The build quality is solid. It feels well-made and not cheap at all. The handle has a nice grip, and the knife has a good weight to it—light enough to handle easily, but heavy enough to feel sturdy. The lock mechanism on the sheath is a nice touch. It clicks in securely so I don’t have to worry about it coming loose in my gear bag. Definitely a thoughtful design. For the price, this knife is a great value. It feels like something that should cost more. I actually ended up buying another one as a gift for a buddy who fishes, and he was really happy with it too. This is hands down the best fillet knife I have ever had. I use this for deer processing, and it makes the work go so fast and enjoyable. The handle is comfortable, and the blade stays razor sharp.
