We bought the Turquoise/Dark Blue king set for our main bedroom, where my husband and I sleep. I was worried about liking it, because we were going from a very bright and colorful Fiesta ware comforter on which I'd patterned our whole room, on which I'd delighted since day one, to... a solid. But the set came, and my husband set everything up, made up the bed really nice and everything, and had me get in (I'm ill and in bed a lot anyway). First of all, let me say I chose the colors correctly, and they are perfect with our bed frame/headboard and wall, and both sides have a great interplay with what we've done in the room so far. So there's that. But also, the comforter has this fantastic plush that has just the right heft to it: you feel so perfectly cozied down however you have it on you, yet it's so light that you're not freaking out about needing to get out of it. This is a perfect comforter. It’s very light, but keeps you warm. Granted, we haven’t gotten into deep winter, but it’s perfect for this time of year when temps drop into the 30-40’s and it’s not cold enough during the day to have the heater kick on. I will say this dolor is a soft green, not quite what I expected, and the reverse side is a dark blue/ almost navy. I was hoping it was more periwinkle, but it’s still really nice. ... show more

    • There are pluses and minuses with this comforter
Size: Twin Set Color: Quartz Silver/Pebble Grey
Loved the rich two tone colors to chose from and the box quilting made it look like a higher end comforter you'd pay more for in stores. I settled on the quartz silver/pebble grey as it more closely matched my drapes and matched my decor style. I'd forgot it would probably be vacuum sealed, smaller obviously, and easier to ship. I laughed when I picked it up thinking this can't be a big comforter in such a little shipping box. Got home opened it and let it fill out for a few hours. It will be wrinkled and not as puffy/fluffy so I'd recommend throwing it in the dryer on low to air it out, make the padding/filling expand more, and remove most or all of the wrinkles. Just a tip, I tossed in 3 wool dryer balls and it came out wrinkle free. I also threw in a couple of dryer sheets as well. So onto the pluses and the minuses about the comforter The positive: - Looks great! As good as the pictures. The box stitched quilting really stands out makes it look more luxurious. - Colors are deep and rich as I said. - I didn't notice any stray threads on the seams and the edges were straight and sewn well glancing at it. - Fabric is amazingly soft and feels sooo good. Not like some that are cheap feeling, crinkly or stiff, or unpleasant against your skin. The negative: - Even after drying although it did get more puffy it isn't filled enough or overfilled to where it pushes the squares to their limit. I would love to find a comforter where literally it's so filled the squares like pillows and feels so good being wrapped up in it that you never want to get out of bed. Like the stuffing is about to explode out of the comforter basically lol. - There are slight but noticeable inconsistancies in the amount of filling in each square mainly in the middle. You can feel it's just thinner where as the edges all around though felt like they were full. - If you like a lot more weight and a heavier feel this comforter in my opinion doesn't deliver in that regard. It has weight but I've found with all the "down alternative" comforters I've tried they seem to be lighter. It is a really nice comforter and the quality is there for what you are paying. If you need to keep within your budget and want a stylish look for your bedroom as well as comfort, the positives outweigh the negatives and I think you'll be happy. I'm pleased with my purchase all in all and my bed looks more inviting to get into at night. ... show more

Absolutely love this comforter! It is so soft and cuddly. I got the pink one and it’s just the perfect color pink. I have washed this comforter quite a few times since I bought it about two years ago and it only gets more cuddly. I live in California and use it for both summer and winter. I am a person who gets cold very easily, so I need something that will keep me warm all night. In winter I do add one blanket on top of the comforter and it’s perfect.
