These booties are absolutely gorgeous and surprisingly comfortable. The rubber sole is a great feature, as it helps prevent slipping, and the velvet material paired with the high-quality gold thread stitching really elevates the overall look. I can wear them all day without any discomfort. That said, a word of caution: they are very difficult to put on and take off. The first time I wore them with regular thick winter socks, I honestly thought I wouldn’t be able to get them off. Because of this, I don’t wear them as often as I’d like. This is a really adorable Karl Lagerfeld Paris dress bootie. It is a gorgeous black suede with gold design on the side. It has a pointy toe and stylish heel. There is no zipper or other opening so you have to work to get it over your foot and on properly (it took two of us!). There is a small amount of arch support. Once on, there is a hard piece that surrounds your heel that is uncomfortable. Although I ordered the proper size, I should have gone up another half size. These Karl Lagerfeld boots are so nice. My daughter has been in the specific market for winter boots that she can wear to dressy/formal functions. I think these hit the mark. The velvet material is extremely plush and the boots feel incredibly well constructed - very much worthy of the Lagerfeld name. Most of all, the Rococo-style embroidered golden filigree is stunning. Best of all, they fit true to her normal shoe size. The only complaint she has is that the toe is pretty narrow - which seems pretty common for a wedge-type toe like this. They aren't initially uncomfortable, but after walking for a few hours they can start to feel cramped. Either she's getting used to them or they're softening-up as they break-in, but she says they seem to be getting more comfortable the more she wears them. But common break-in woes aside, these boots really are stunning and will bring a bit of couture fashion to any wardrobe. ... show more

These booties are definitely on the narrower side, so I want to say that up front because it will matter for some people. They do not feel sloppy or loose at all, and while they lean dressy, they are still comfortable enough for actual wear. The heel height feels manageable and balanced, not the kind that makes you want to take them off after an hour. For me, the fit worked, but if you have a wider foot this may take some consideration. The embroidery and stitching are what really make these stand out. The detailing feels intentional and well finished, not stiff or scratchy, and it gives the boot a more elevated look without pushing it into costume territory. The suede has a nice softness to it, and overall the materials met my expectations for this style. Nothing felt flimsy or rushed in construction. Styling wise, these lean dress up but are flexible enough to work with more relaxed outfits too. They pair well with cropped trousers, midi skirts, or dark denim when you want the shoes to be the focal point. I would not call these everyday beaters, but for evenings, events, or polished casual looks they make a strong visual statement. These are a gorgeous pair of pull on boots. They have a fabric upper and lining. The gold embroidery on the side is stunning. The bottom does not have a lot of traction so you will want to scuff the bottom a bit. I recommend going a size to a size and a half up if you have wider feet or a high in-step. These are extremely difficult to pull on without a shoe horn as there is no boot loop to pull on the back. These fit on very snug so there is no chance of them slipping around.
