I absolutely love these boots! I was not familiar with this designer before receiving these boots and now I am a big fan! I would say the sizing runs slightly large if not true to size but they are generous and the width is just right, I like boots that have space for my toes because I normally wear barefoot shoes and these do a great job of providing enough space for me not to feel cramped up all day. They are incredibly comfortable which was surprising and I can wear these as a hairdresser for a whole day of work 10 plus hours without my feet hurting. The zipper seems very sturdy and hoping it holds up well over time. The style is funky, classic and cute all the same time. I love that the sequins add a little Flair without looking old lady or ridiculous and flashy. I have received a lot of compliments on these boots so far and they are my go-to shoe for work and go well with any outfit. They are not cheap but they are worth it! I highly recommend these boots give them a try!

These black boots are super stylish and cute! I really love black chelsea boots, so it can be difficult to find quality ones that are unique in style and offer a good overall shape and feature set. I ordered this, uncertain if I would like the lace-up closure and the sequins. When I got them they actually looked better in person than I expected. The laces actually add a touch of style compared to most chelsea boots I order, which typically I will go for a slip-on look without laces. The nice thing is that the side of the boot has a zipper, so you can leave them laced up and just use the zipper to take the shoe on and off without having to relace them every single time! The zipper has a little design charm on it, which is a nice touch. The sequins add a little personality to the boot without being overly gaudy and they don't look "too much" on the shoe either, since they are in a small area. The black on black makes them look classy still, and you can wear these with a lot of outfits. I really like the base of the shoe, with good tread, they seem like they will last a long time. They also are not slippery in winter weather. I've also been able to fit insoles inside which is important for me since I have some foot issues, and that has made them all the more comfortable -- but they are comfortable to begin with too! I haven't found them painful to wear at all, and I don't think they are the type of shoe that needs a ton of breaking in to wear when you first get them. I do think they will break in more over time as I wear them, however. Overall these are a great shoe, however for the high price, I think they are maybe a little lower quality than what you can get from other brands on the market in the same price range. This is why I am rating them 4/5.

The Karl Lagerfeld Marlee Sequin Combat Boot is a bold, fashion-forward boot that combines a classic lace-up combat silhouette with full sequin coverage for a high-impact, night-out or holiday look. With an ankle-height shaft, modest block heel around 1.5 inches, and rubber sole, it offers everyday-wearable comfort while still reading like a statement piece. Pros: All-over sequins and lace-up styling create an edgy–glam vibe that pairs well with jeans, sweater dresses, and party outfits. Rubber outsole and low block heel make them more stable and walkable than many dressy heeled boots. Synthetic/sequin upper is easier to wipe clean than delicate fabrics and gives a designer look at a mid-range price point. Cons: Sequins can catch on delicate fabrics and may shed or lose shine over time if worn heavily. Very bold style that may not feel versatile for minimal or classic wardrobes, making them more of a special-occasion piece. Recommendation: Recommended if you want a fun, eye-catching boot for holidays, concerts, and nights out and already have a more neutral everyday boot; style them with simple black jeans, sweater dresses, or monochrome outfits to let the sequins stand out without overwhelming the look.

These are really snazzy synthetic leather combat boots. They are definitely a statement piece. I had fun styling this with rolled up jeans, skinny tucked in pants, and a black and white checkered skirt. I can definitely see myself getting a lot of wear out of them. I normally wear a size 8, but I was concerned that they might be too narrow in the toe box, so went up a size to 8.5 figuring that I could always wear them with thicker socks. As it turns out these boots apparently run large and I had an extra half inch. I noticed that they were also marked EU 39 which explains it as that is closer to a US 9 then 8.5. The boots are side zipper style. Although there are laces you can theoretically adjust, they seem mostly for show. The shoes were initially stiff across the front of my ankle and shin, but they quickly loosened up. I'm not sure I would want to walk miles in them, but they are comfortable for going about my day. The only thing I'm not in love with is the price point for synthetic leather. Over $200 list price is really pushing it, even with a designer label. For the price I would probably opt for genuine leather from a less costly brand.

These boots are gorgeous AND comfortable! I love the sequins on the boots that soften the look of the combat boots and give them a more feminine feel. I did order them a half size up so I can wear thicker socks and that was the right call…I’d rather wear thicker socks is with boots. I’ve wore these with a dress and tights and straight leg jeans and they looked great each time. Highly recommend!!

These shoes are so fun! I love the shiny and sparkle of them so much. They make any outfit I wear more enjoyable. I’ve already gotten a lot of compliments on these boots. They’re very comfortable on my feet for long periods of time with lots of steps. I feel like they’re a great price for a great quality boot. They fit true to size for me and are not too wide or narrow. I definitely recommend getting yourself a pair, or a pair for a gift!
