These pants have all the late 90's/early 2000's vibes. They have a huge wide leg like a palazzo pant put jean. Depending on your size and height it might work for you or it might be way too long. If these are the pants you have been looking for then i would just recommend getting them nicely hemmed. The material is a thick jean but has stretch. I am a size 16 and I was worried that it would be tight but it fits great. I have room to sit and move, very comfortable. I am 5'5" and the length was really long. I tried to see if platforms would help but they were still long so I will be getting them hemmed. The belt that it comes with is super cute. It is a silver chain link and has tassels at the end. There is a larger lobster clasp to link it, pretty easy to clasp. I love the dark denim striping and the stretch/waist fit of these pants. They cost more then i usually would pay for a pair of jeans but they are also very different then any basic pair of jeans you can pickup at a store. I absolutely love these pants! They are so stylish and made with good-quality material. The fit is great. I usually wear a Medium and ordered a size 8, and it fits perfectly around my hips. I’m 5'8", and the length is also perfect for me, which I really appreciate. The deep blue color is stunning, and I feel very pretty wearing them. Yes, I am fan crushing on my new Karl Lagerfeld pants. I am a sewist and the great care that went into all the details of these pants are duly noted. There is the couture welt pockets in the front, the wide belt carriers with the signature KL name engravved in silver buttons that seem to have been dipped in a luscious black pearl, to match the gorgeous belt chain. This belt chain as mentioned comes in a beautiful pearl black tone and is complete with stunning metal tassles. The craftmanship of the pants is sewn into every stitch. I am so stoked to wear them. I do have a complaint: there is no size chart so I was unsure what size to go with. I can wear from a 0 to a 4 and I wasn't sure how much stretch these pants would have (they have a tiny bit of give) so I decided to go with a 4 but I should have gotten a 2 since the waist is big. I will keep these because I do like the slouchy look it gives so I'm satsified (and I can always alter them myself if need be). I have a 25" waist and 35" hips for those needing a guide, but go with what you would normally wear in pants or jeans and you should be fine. ... show more

These jean/pants appear to be well constructed, however they miss the style mark associated with the Karl Lagerfeld brand. They look far better in the listing pictures than they look in person. Not everyone wants to wear heels with jeans and these pants are made for heels... and I think you need to be as thin as the models to look fashionable in them as well. I'm not model thin. I think they're stylish for the right person, just not for me. ... show more
