I love the print of this dress, it’s modern and yet timeless. It’s sophisticated without being stuffy, and is versatile. It can be worn to the office, a night out, a luncheon, or hosting a gathering. The sewing and tailoring are very well done- the pattern matches up where it should. The buttons look luxe. I’m not big into obvious branding, and “Karl” is in parts of the print design, but it’s subtle and doesn’t bother me. The material is a silky feeling polyester and the dress is fully lined. It says there is some spandex content, but there is almost no stretch so use the size chart. I ordered my recommended size, 8, and it fits well. For reference: I’m 5’10”, 145lbs, 36b, 29” waist, and 40” hips. Lovely dress.

This is an exquisite and very comfortable dress from Mr. Karl. I love the fabulous geometric print and careful mirror-image design all over the dress. The drop-skirt is surprisingly flattering and doesn't emphasize my wide hips at all. The vertical lines are flattering and slimming. The dress is lined through the bodice and skirt, but not the sleeves, which is actually better because that makes the fabric feel more breathable. The belt is made of the same material as the dress, only double thickness. It's imperative that the belt is worn straight across the waist and not allowed to slump down otherwise the dress will look sloppy and badly fitting. As for the fit, I ordered my normal size 12 for my 5'5" 170lb frame and it fits perfectly without squeezing anything. In fact, if I'm able to lose a couple lbs it would hang even better, however if I gain a couple lbs it will still fit properly. Seems that the designer sizing runs appropriately to American standard sizing, which is excellent for the online shopper. I wouldn't think to pick this dress if I saw it on a hanger, but love the dress on me. It's for so much potential, just needs proper styling and good footwear.

I expected a better quality in the fabric when I saw the price tag. Instead what I got was a cheap polyester material that I can easily find at trendy discount stores. The geometric lines are way too wide, and the overly wide belt make the outfit look cheap and unflattering. I'm a huge fan of Diane Von Furstenberg, and I expected something of that caliber, considering the price, so it was disappointing that my expectations were not met. I wouldn't pay more than maybe $50 for this dress. The sizing also runs large. For a designer dress that's sized 4, it would probably fit like a 2 in this dress. I'm also not a fan of the huge baggy sleeves. I wanted to wear this dress for formal or professional settings, but I'm sad to say it will most likely sit in my closet until I give it away.

Beautiful, elegant dress! The quality and style truly reflect the higher price point. I was initially worried it might look heavy in person, but it’s the opposite, very flattering and sophisticated. This is the first dress I get from this brand, so I was concerned about sizing, but it fits true to size. It works best for cooler weather since the fabric isn’t very breathable and has no stretch. It does come with a slip, which is a nice touch, and the fabric is easy to iron. One thing to note: the pictures make the dress look white, but in person, it’s more of an ivory shade. Still beautiful, just something to keep in mind. If you’re looking for a timeless, elegant piece, this dress is a great investment.

I love the material and colors of this dress. You can never go wrong with a black and tan combination. It has echoes of the past and the future in the styling. It's something you aren't going to see every day, and I think that's what makes it special and gives it a higher price tag. The craftmanship is excellent. Oh, how I wanted this to work out, but the fit just wasn't doing it for me. I'm 5'1" with a curvy shape, and I think my bottom half looked large and unflattering. I'm not sure if it is the material or the length or what. I think this dress is made for tall and slender people, and it would be divine!

This dress is beautifully made with high quality materials paying attention to fine details. I don’t usually go for this style, but husband says it looked cool and the brand is reputable, so I decided to try it. Wrinkles will come out with steam. It’s really comfortable and you don’t need special underwear for this dress. It’s fully lined and modest. The belt is a lovely material. Nice buttons, black with a little gold shimmer. Branding is subtle in the print itself and on the belt’s buckle. Just a very impressive garment. Nice designer quality. Sizing was correct. I ordered a size 8 and it fit comfortably. For reference, I am 5 ft and 145 lbs and carry most of my weight in the lower half.
