It’s a fun toy for little kids to play with. You do have to be careful that the kids aren’t looking down at the disc launcher. You know how kids want to see everything up close, so you have make sure they don’t have their head over it. Or it can hit them in the face. The protective glasses they give you is too big for our kids head. The disc you put in, they don’t work well if you put more than one in at a time. This elephant toy came well packaged in a box with 2 nets, 8 spinning disks, and even a face shield for eye protection. There is some assembly required. The elephant ears need to be attached and the netting needs to be placed onto the net rings, both of which were very easy and straight forward. The face shield also needs to be assembled, though it seemed a bit more complicated so I didn't even try. My 7 year old was eager to try out the new toy and after an initial test to see how the toy worked I decided we wouldn't need the eye protection anyway. As for the toy, if you press the button gently the disks barely lift off and land on the ground. It takes quite a stomp or a forceful push to get them to fly up high and spin through the air. Initially I was worried about breaking it or tipping it over, but the toy was clearly made with this in mind and it works well! My 7 year old loved running to catch the flying disks in the net and played continuously with this toy for a long while without tiring of it. There are 8 disks provided and the directions say you can load up to 4 at a time but that it does best with less than 3 so we started with 4. I expected that one disk would fly up at a time and we wouldn't have to reload as often but as it turns out, ALL the loaded disks will launch at the same time. Also, 4 is too many. Then we tried 3 disks, now aware that all of them go at once. Three works, but they don't fly very high. In the end, we discovered that it works best with 2 disks loaded (just like the box said). This is a cute and fun toy that kept my 7 year old entertained for well over an hour right out of the box. Would make a great gift for children. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The toy is ready to play right out of the box, and the net is easy to assemble.But the plastic face shields used to protect children's eyes are so blurry that it's impossible to see clearly. Okay let me set the situation. Take the thing out of the box. Ok. Little plastic spinny things. Slip it in. Hit the button. It flys up a few inches. “Eh” Ok. Let’s try it again. Smash the button down. OMG THIS IS SO COOL! It takes off. Hits the ceiling. Still spinning. Trying to fly even higher! Haha so fun! “Let’s take it into the high ceiling foyer!” AMAZING! This toy is a simple toy that is a lot of fun. It does t run off of batteries you put a max of three flying discs into the launcher and push the lever down and the discs go flying high. It takes just the right amount of pressure and speed to get the disc to fly but once you figure it out the disc can go all the way up to your cieling. It bro hs a lot of laughs and entertainment for little ones. My 4yo was able to figure it out and get the disk like 20ft in the air, the 2yo has gotten it about 3ft off the ground but still brings smiles all around. ... show more

This thing works far better than expected. It doesn't use any batteries which is terrific. You just load up a propeller and stomp on it. It goes flying up and you catch it in a net on the way down. My 35lb 5 year old can get it to our 22 foot ceiling every time. I will note that this is probably more fun outside where it can go even higher and there's more space to run after them.
