I am a size 6 1/2-7 and I bought the size 6 in these boots. They were just perfect since I like my boots to be a bit larger so I can wear heavy socks with them. I usually buy size 5 in big kid boots since I can fit into them and usually they are half the price of women's boots. Also I find kids shoes tend to be way sturdier than women's shoes. The color is exactly what I wanted and the buckle accent is adorable. I walked about a mile in these boots today and was comfortable. There are a few cons that don't directly apply to me, though: -They fit great if you have skinny athletic calves. If you have bigger calves they probably won't fit -The first time breaking them in, I strongly recommend wearing thick socks and leggings. Since they are rubber, they initially rubbed against my calves uncomfortably as well as my heel. -They are a bit clunky and they do make some noise when you walk because they are rubber boots. Some people might not like this but I don't think it's a huge deal. Overall I think they will be perfect for the indecisive March spring weather in Denver. If you get some thick wool socks, they will be perfect for winter as well. I'm hoping that the green comes back into stock in the 6 and I will probably get the black ones too. ... show more

    • Perfect for rain, snow, or chicken coops!
I bought these for my son in with the orange rubber sole. We were heading up to visit my boyfriend's family and they had just received 10 inches of snow the day before our arrival but they had been anticipating the snow for several days. I tried finding snow boots here in town (I'd have a better chance of finding a unicorn before finding snow boots in our beach town), then said "ok, maybe rain boots?". Still no luck there. So I turned to amazon and found these for him. He picked out the color and was pretty pumped but we were worried that even with next day shipping, they might not arrive before our departure time. I was able to coordinate with UPS to have them dropped off at a retail store rather than our house (for whatever reason, we almost always get our UPS packages around 5-6pm), and we picked up the boots on our way out of town. They fit him perfectly, were comfortable and were warm when we layered up socks with the boots, and most importantly, they served their purpose with the snow/mud. He even did a few puddle jumps and found them to be satisfactory in keeping his pants and feet dry - not so much his upper body, but you gotta know how to jump into puddles man! Sadly, he was on the backend of his shoe size when we ordered these, so we didn't get any use of them this year, but my aunt asked if she could have them (she has freakishly small feet) and now uses them when cleaning out her chicken coop and dealing with the muddy marsh in their backyard. She loves them and even commented on how comfortable they are and how easy to clean they are as well. A very solidly made boot! ... show more

The boots fit fine and serve the purpose but the decorative buckle broke off almost immediately. I bought these boots in particular because of the decorative buckle. So now all I have is a black boot which I could have bought anywhere.

I ordered two sizes of boots for two different children. They were a bit small but I ordered a size up so the fit perfectly. The boots arrived promptly. But after my 5 year old had her boots on for 5 minutes a buckle fell off while she was swinging. That is really a bit disappointing. Hopefully the boots them selfs hold up better. ... show more

Purchased these boots for my daughter to wear for a trip to the Oregon coast. The boots were perfect. They fit her well, came up high enough on her legs that water didn't get inside when she played in the waves and ran on the beach. Very happy with this product.
