This works excellent. Crystal clear so you can see the center line and line it up exactly with the guitar center line. Using a flush trim router bit, this was so easy to route out pickup cavities.

I ordered 2 of these. -Thicker than StewMac templates. -Seems quality built. -A big negative though is that they scored the center line on the top of the template. It should be on the bottom so you can line up your center line accurately. The recess for the screw heads for fastening the template to the guitar and eventually mounting the pickup are recessed on the top side. The fix: You have to recess the screw holes on the other side of the template. This way you can have the scored centerline down on the guitar when screwed to the body. ... show more
