These earrings are very pretty, and they come in multiple sizes. I bought these to replace my usual diamond studs, and have been impressed with the overall quality of the earrings. They work well with my sensitive skin, and the different sizes allow me to decide just how much sparkle I want to add to my look. The one thing I do not care for as much is that the backs are screw in. They lose a star because there is a bit of a learning curve to make sure you don't drop the back while screwing the earrings in, but it is nice in that the earrings stay cleaner (the bottom doesn't collect any dead skin). I purchased the gold plated set with the screwbacks because I wanted to avoid the risk of losing the backings, like I so often do with posts that I like to keep in my ears for everyday wear. As far as that goes, they’re great—they aren’t going anywhere! But also because they are screwback the backs only go in so far, so if the end gets pushed up against the back of the earlobe for whatever reason I’m left with earrings that stick up and out, so I’m constantly having to make sure the top is pushed back down against my ear. It makes the post feel longer than it really is, if that makes any sense. I also made the mistake of not paying attention to the fact that the tops of these sit at a much higher height because of the settings the “gems” are sitting in. So the two smallest sizes in the set are okay, but the bigger the gem the higher it sticks out. It’s just not my style, so just be aware if that’s not your thing either. Otherwise, the gems themselves are beautiful—very sparkly and shiny. I like the gold plating too. Had a pair in for a couple of weeks with zero problems in my sensitive ears (I can’t wear costume jewelry). They really are beautiful earrings and quality for the price can’t be beat. If it weren’t for the way the setting sits on my lobes and how long the post ends up sticking out because of the backings, I’d give it 5 stars. As it is, I’ll only be using the two smallest pairs and even then might just stick to using those for my helix. I’d get another set from this seller but it’ll be the one with the regular butterfly backs and “conical” setting so the gem can sit more into my lobes. ... show more
