    • Poor support causes foot pain
I had high hopes for these skates but their design just doesn't support the top of the skate. Your ankles are afforded way too much movement no matter how hard you crank down the straps. This lack of support causes a lot of pain across the arches of your feet, as the work of stabilizing your ankle is passed onto your feet instead of the skate. The top buckle just isn't enough support to immobilize the ankle. my damn kids destroyed the box, so now I'm left wondering how to make these work. I'll probably have to buy a wide velcro strap and stuff a couple of metal bars into the sides. I was sorely disappointed in these skates, I'd been better off buying some hockey skates off ebay. Don't buy soft boot, just get normal skates. ... show more
