  • GREAT shoe you can push onto the court safely. I'd say a balance of 65% tennis and 35% daily wear
The ultimate mix of a daily shoe that can be pushed onto the court when you didn't bring a dedicated pair. I'd bike 14 miles total, work all day, and play tennis for 3 hours in these. Great durability and comfort, yet offer a semi performance fit with your heels and forefoot locked in enough. If you have very particular feet the slight lack of cushioning may not be great, but to me they strike an IDEAL balance. If you're playing hard you'll still want something more technical but as far as a tennis shoe you can wear around all day, I haven't found any better. ... show more

  • K‑Swiss Hypercourt Express 2 – A Surprisingly Elite Performer for All‑Court Players
After putting the *K‑Swiss Men’s Hypercourt Express 2* through several sessions, I can confidently say this shoe deserves far more attention than it gets. I picked up the *Black/Soft Neon Green/Neon Lava (9.5W)* model, and it has exceeded expectations in every performance category that matters on court. **Comfort & Fit** The comfort level is outstanding right out of the box. The shoe has: - Excellent ground‑level grip that keeps you stable during aggressive lateral movements - Ample toe‑box space, which is rare in performance tennis shoes - A true wide fit that supports the arch without squeezing or creating hotspots For players who value comfort during long matches or training sessions, this shoe checks every box. **Movement & Stability** The Hypercourt Express 2 feels *lightweight and fast*, making it easy to move, recover, and change direction. The balance between cushioning and responsiveness is spot‑on. You get enough support for hard court play without feeling weighed down. **Traction & Court Feel** The outsole provides *excellent traction* on hard courts. You can slide when you want to, stop when you need to, and push off confidently. The court feel is natural and controlled, which helps with timing and footwork. **Value for Money** This shoe is *worth every penny*. It performs like a premium model without the premium price tag. After dealing with Asics being out of stock for months (and the wait times being ridiculous), this turned out to be the perfect alternative—and honestly, a better fit for my foot shape. **Final Thoughts** The K‑Swiss Hypercourt Express 2 is a *MUST-HAVE* for players who want comfort, stability, and speed in one package. It’s a reliable, high‑performing shoe that delivers exactly what competitive and recreational players need. For anyone frustrated with Asics stock issues, this is the right switch. I’m extremely happy with this pair and would recommend it without hesitation. ... show more

  • GREAT Pickleball shoe!
Size: 13 Wide Color: Black/Soft Neon Green/Neon Lava
This is my third pair of these. They do not wear out and the toes box is awesome! I wear a women's 11 but can never find the toes box big enough. So i buy the men's 9.5 . I did not need the wide since it is big enough. Very great pickleball shoe and nice looking too! MY husband has the same pair and loves his 13 W! ... show more

  • Painfully stiff
I spent a couple years enjoying the Mizuno Supersonic Wave (volleyball shoe) for tennis. I could shove my wide feet into them and the thin soles gave me excellent court feel and never caused me to tip my ankle during lateral moves. However, they were actually too narrow (and not long enough) and I developed a neuroma and sessamoiditis. I started exploring barefoot shoes (with modified insoles for more protection; currently Xero Prio) to get the toe room but maintain the feel. Both problems amazingly went away within two weeks, however, after about 3 months, the sessamoiditis came back. Back to the drawing board - I figured I'd give traditional tennis shoes another shot. I ordered this KSwiss shoe, the New Balance 996 v4, and the Asics Gel Revolution 8 all in Mens 9.5 Wide. Quick result - I'm sending them all back. The Asics were the narrowest, very straight then rounded shape to the toe region. Their uppers are crazy plasticky, stiff, painfully uncomfortable. There's an attached sock thing on either side of the tongue and two straps across the top of the tongue to hold it in place. Both make the shoe feel even more cramped. Because of those top straps, it is not possible to get a sloppy, loose-shoe feel after a match. The bottoms were also very stiff. The outsole is sufficiently vertical and thick to make me concerned about ankle-tip. The New Balance had better width across the toe-joint ridge but the toe box is so tapered that it squished my toes painfully. They were the most flexible top and bottom. In the numbers below, you can see that the soles are the thinnest of the 3. The heel cup was shallower than the other two and, usually, I'm okay with that but didn't care for it this time. The KSwiss were both wide enough across toe-joint ridge and roomy enough for my toes to be straight and even a little splayed. The heel cup was deep with a cushiony, comfortable heel collar. The uppers have a lot of plastic like the Asics but the design is considerably more flexible there than on the Asics. The outsole has enough angle shaping that I don't think I'd ever catch and tip my ankle in them. I developed hope. I took them for a brief test drive at a clean, indoor tennis court. After less than 10 minutes I had to take them off. They have the stiffest soles of the 3 and while thick, the soles are not cushiony at all. My sessamoiditis burned immediately. Somehow, they made my pinky toe joint hurt as well. The stiffness had a significantly negative impact on my footwork. I had no agility, no ability to zip into the right place. While on court, the length felt excessive by at least a 1/2 inch. I would need to put those heel pads in to get them to fit properly. I'm returning all 3 and going back to further modifications of barefoot shoes.... • It’s an all around great shoe that I’ll probably stay with.
Fits nice. “Fairly” durable sole, but I use Shoe Goo constantly to extend its life. Nice cushioning and I appreciate its stability. The uppers are durable n decently breathable and I like the scalloped shoe laces that resist loosening (even though it makes it a lil more challenging to remove yr shoes). The tongue could be a 1/2” longer. ... show more

  • Supportive tennis shoes especially for low arch/wider feet
Size: 10 Color: Black/White/Highrise
I have bought several pairs of these as I wear through the soles regularly. They are very comfortable especially with my low arch. The style is nice and makes them go with any other tennis gear. They feel light weight while offering support and protection for your ankles during heavy play. The size is true (they dont seem to run larger or smaller than average). I will be buying more in the future. ... show more

  • Amazing shoes but poor durability
These shoes are perfect except for the durability. The outsoles start to wear through after about 30-40 matches, see pic. I've gone through 5+ pair and it happens every time. I keep buying them because they fit perfectly and I've had other shoes cause plantar fasciitis, and you can't put price tag on your health, but I wish they would figure out how to make them last longer. ... show more
