I found the white one to be pretty easily stained, and looks kind of dirty if not cleaned regularly, but it's easy to clean with a normal towel and some dish soap. I bought this because my desk was super old and cracked on top, and I wanted it to feel like new again. First of all, this fit PERFECTLY over the top and honestly I only eyeballed the dimensions of my desk before deciding which size to buy. There was no edge that hung over, everything laid down seamlessly. I secured it with some mounting tape so it wouldn’t budge. The surface is very smooth and the color is vibrant. It is cushy on top but not to the point you can’t write on it. It can be wiped down easily. My cat loves it so much that sometimes he likes to sleep there or hang out by my keyboard because it creates a little nook for him. He’s also a silly little guy with long nails and I was afraid he would scratch it up, but so far there hasn’t been any damage to it and he constantly jumps on and off of it. It’s very durable and I would absolutely repurchase it and recommend to others.

Looks nice, solid thickness. Not wavy like some people have said. It wasn't exactly the size I needed, but it was easy to trim with scissors. I'm deducting one star because the color looked a bit different online. Online, it looked a bit more like ivory or a warmer tan. This is just beige. Sort of a borring beige that does not match my desk color as well as I expected.

I have two of these - one at work, one at home. It's a great desk mat for a mouse and keyboard. Easy to wipe clean and comfy under your wrists when you're working all day. It's soft, which is nice, but don't write on a piece of paper over it because it's so soft that the pen will push through the paper into the pad. I've been using the one in my office for 2 years and it shows zero surface wear.
