*See "pink vs white note below* Such a creative idea. This makes a great gift. You have to be careful because the way its packaged some people have experienced salt spilled when they open it. I however, did not. This is a great, easy to do activity to do with older kids, friends or just while having me time. Perfect idea for tween slumber parties or just some personal pamper time. I'm normally not a huge fan of salt scrubs (I usually buy sugar scrubs instead) because salt scrubs can sometimes be too oily/greasy and can make the shower slippery. With this d.i.y. kit I feel like I can control that part (even if it means I have to tweak the formula slightly and use less oil or add more of my own scrub salt or make just 2 instead of 4. The kit does come with everything you need to make the four scrubs as is so it isn't necessary. It has four scents to use. So far my favorite is the lavender as I am partial to that scent. The pricing and value are good and lower than or similar to other sets available. *Note, if it seems like the quality of reviews between the Viners is different, it isn't just because we are V.V, note whether the kit is the "pink" or sometimes slightly cheaper "white" kit that appears to include less things. I suspect there is a difference in quality in what was sent to us. I would suggest choosing the kit with the good reviews- pink, unless the white kit suddenly changes and gets multiple good reviews. Useless product . Do not waste your money! This Home Body Scrub Kit is uncomplicated And Here is Why? I ordered this kit with high expectations, but I was very disappointed. The instructions are vague and unhelpful. It simply says: “Pour appropriate amount of bath salt into a measuring cup and add an appropriate amount of sweet almond oil and aloe vera gel.” What is the “appropriate amount”? There are no measurements, ratios, or guidance at all. Without clear directions, it feels like guesswork, which defeats the purpose of buying a kit in the first place. Additionally, the essential oils included are of very low quality. They lack the rich, natural aroma and strength that you’d expect. Overall, the product feels incomplete and poorly put together. A kit should come with clear, step-by-step instructions and quality ingredients. This one does not deliver on either. Overall, the kit feels cheap and incomplete. Do not waste your money. Very disappointed!
