I just turned 80 last month my neighbor near my age bought a convertible. I bought my first pair of western boots. I am very pleased with this brand as they fit well and the color, brown, with round toe was perfect. They were very easy to put on and takeoff, far less trouble than trying to lace up what I normally buy. The size fit true to what I wear and they look to be very good quality. Don’t know about scuff resistance yet and I plan on using waterproofing to coat them. Fit a little looser than my regular boot size, which was good because I planned to use them with thicker, winter socks. Fit perfectly for this. Usually wear a size 9D boot. Ordered a size 9. Heel slips, which boot heels will untill broken in. Nice and snug, but not tight with Moreno wool socks. Not a square toe nor, my preference, a J-toe. A round toe, another 1st in my boot collection which include Lucchese, Cody James, Ariat ... Don't usually wear a rubber or synthetic sole on boots, so I gotta get use to this "soft" step, but the sole is thick and comfortable. ... show more

I've been wearing cowboy boots and work boots for 30 years, and I've always been a regular size 11. For some reason, on these a 10 wide fits me best. That's the only negative, these are the best boots for the money out there. Great leather, comfy sole, easily conditioned and cleaned up after dirty.

These fit true to size and they’re nice looking boots. Comfortable as well. Nice leather outside with a smooth lined interior (not leather) Made in Cambodia. I hesitated with initiating a return because they’re not bad looking and the price was very good, but even though I like the boots, I don’t love them. The shaft is a bit big and really shows even with bootcut jeans. I have average size legs too but the shaft is still wide. I know I can strap them but my went days are over and I don’t care to use blouse straps ever again. ... show more

Love the boots. Can't go wrong with Justin. Only problem is I needed to return the first pair I bought because they didn't fit. I waited a whole month before getting a credit to my Amazon account. Not a refund. Amazon calls it a refund but that's not a refund it's Amazon credit. A refund would have been the money I spent being put back in my bank account. Since this is the first time I've ever returned an item to Amazon I think I'll start spending my money at Walmart.com from now on ... show more
