Today many clothes are made with a type of synthetic, non-breathable, tight, clingy, stretchy, heavy, sweaty kind of fabric. It may say there is a percentage of cotton in the description but it still feels like plastic. BUT THIS material IS the real thing. It's soft, lightweight not see- through, loose, long enough to choice front and back but bit too long and----BREATHABLE! I hear angels singing when I put it on. I washed it in cool water, light wash, cool rinse and then hung it up to dry. Didn't shrink a bit. I sized up like Amazon recommended and based on previous reviews so it's a little bit loose but I fear If I order down a size it would be too tight. I'm ordering many more before they run out and breathable material is nearly impossible to find unless they charge a lottery winnings amount. This is a mixed review: I love this shirt (I bought two!) -- it's soft, GREAT, stretchy material. Higher-quality than the other black tanks I've bought via Amazon. It's sort-of short (hip length), which is fine, because I usually wear a "big shirt," either something elegant or just pretty, over all my tanks. It's beautiful under a velvet burnout jacket. Nice neckline: not too low, not too high. So it's a BIT short, and almost tight. BUT I NEVER wash any clothes in hot water--ALWAYS cold. AND I NEVER dry my outside clothes, I always hang them to dry. This shirt has NOT lost any of its color--neither one has faded. Both are just as black as they were the days I received them. So, mixed review. I recommend that Customers buy a size LARGER than they would usually. (I bought 5X; if 6X was available, I would have bought that one.) IF it ever becomes available in 6X or 7X, I'll DEFinitely buy. I recommend, but with the caveat, to buy one size larger. :) ... show more

Found a great 100% cotton, comfortable, tee shirt that washes up well and fits great. Been trying several options last few years. I've found the tank top to be the best for ease of on and off.and sleeping.

I actually got this in a size bigger and it looks like a sack on me cuz I'm short, little overweight by about 30 40 pounds, but very comfortable and it's very cool and I wear it around the house and I fell in love with it that I ordered another. I have a few smocks that I wear almost every day and I wear this t-shirt underneath and it's still breathable it's comfortable it's easy to wash I love them. I used to make every day, in fact I used to bake wedding cakes and that was a big job and I wore things like this and my smocks cause things got messy messy messy. Can always find a hand towel or a paper towel at every turn so guess where you wipe your hands. I didn't have it aprons I wore the smocks with these t-shirts. I love these shirts because of their nice colors and they are comfortable to wear. I will say, however, that I feel they run a little small. I bought 2 of these shirts in different colors.
