I purchased a 2x even though I wear a 10 in women's pants. When I opened my package I was cursing myself for buying a 2x when I could've purchased a Large or XL. But then I read the reviews again and realized why I purchased such a large size. Other reviewers said they shrunk upon washing and drying. My hips are 44 inches wide. I'm 5'8" 160 lbs. These were so long when I pulled them out of the package. They hung off my feet at least 5 inches. And I'm not short. But now I'm really glad I purchased 2 sizes too big. These are now reasonably loose and comfy, even after washing in cold water and drying on low heat. And they softened up after washing with fabric softener. They say on the label 100% cotton fyi. I shop based on reviews, but sometimes they aren't always accurate. This time they were. I'm including pictures of the pajamas pants wear. They fit perfectly now. But looking at the pictures I just took, it looks like one side of the legs is longer than the other! Also, the waist tassle is either not sewn correctly, or I have already unthreaded it by adjusting the size on my hips. They should've used a different material (stretchy) to make the waist rope. Edit- I was just trying to make a bad situation better. These are too big still. I've washed and dried them multiple times and they are still too large. My fault for listening to the reviews, but I had nothing else to go on since the stupid company had no size chart and the amazon "size chart" is standard, it doesn't take into account if the clothing runs large, is Asian sizing, ect. Oh well. At least these were super cheap. I purchased multiple other pajama pants around the same time off Amazon and they all fit perfect, and I purchased my regular size L-XL ... show more

I love the comfy cotton fabric which is nice light weight. Have a few different versions of these already and always wash first because they are too long for me. I’m 5’1 and need to shrink them before I can wear them. If that’s a problem for you then maybe keep shopping or hand wash. Also love the price and value! ... show more

These were cute but shrunk a lot after washing (got a couple inches shorter) and the tie is just super cheap and feels like it's going to break if I pull it tight. So I'm stuck wearing them a little loose.

I am not returning these, but you get what you pay for. Width wise these pajamas bottoms fit just fine and have a little wiggle room. Length wise these are long. I'm a short torso and long legs so it's a little odd to have to roll up the bottoms at 5'6." The material is a bit rough. They're still fine to sleep in but definitely not a pair of gravitate to because they're so comfortable. I'm not returning them because they're needed for a costume but there is no great love there to buy more in other prints. I can't speak to how they wash, I'm airing out the smell outside and steamed them. I read a few negative reviews on how they shrink and can't take the chance with these being used for a costume.
