I machine washed it on the gentle cycle in cold water and tumble dried it on high, and it washed perfectly with no issues. I would definitely recommend sticking with cold water wash to preserve the plushiness - did I mention how plushy this is? The fit is true to size. I sized up to a Large for an oversized fit. I am short, so the midi length of this robe is perfect for me, as I cannot buy full length robes or they will drag on the floor. The weight is not too light or too thick - it's a perfect mid weight. It does feel very fuzzy and cozy, but I’ve had it less than a month and I only wear it maybe once a week, and it already has a large hole in one of the seams around the arm, and one of the inside ties, which I don’t even use, is about to come off at the seam. Also has stitching poking out of many other seams.
