This is a great starter kit because it comes with everything you need. You get all the standard threads (black, brown, etc.), needles, scissors, etc. This is perfect if you’re just starting off with a sewing kit or you just want a small one for hemming clothes here and there. I got this a replacement for my sewing kit that my son has dismantled so many of my needles, threads, etc has gone missing or was thrown away. I found this to be perfect for me as it’s small and I didn’t need the elaborate sewing kit like I once had had I don’t hem or sew as much as I did in the past.

i really like this portable sewing kit. It has an abundance of threads that are great for mending things in a pinch! I think it's good quality for the price. Obviously the threads are not "super high" quality, but they work for any fixes you have on the road! Plenty of needles & a simple zipper case houses it all. It's no bigger than a small book! I like that I can easily pack it when needed & it's portable with one hand. It might even fit inside most medium sized purses!
