I hung out up in our oak tree today and my foot year old grandson enthusiastically tried it out. As his strength increases he will be able to do more with it, but he was happy with it. The type is super sturdy and the plastic rings/seat/platform/climbing discs are all well made. The strap wrapped around the branch. When we bought this for our grandchildren (ages 7 & 4), they instantly yelled, "Install it! Install it!" It took a little while to put it up, but they argued who would test out the height before latching it! Before I wrote this review, I asked both of them what they would rate it. Our 7 year old granddaughter, who likes to be true about things, said " I would give it a five because I really like it" and our 4 year old granddaughter, who likes to be serious, said "I would have given it a 1 because I keep slipping but I rate it a 5 because I liked the color and I can sit on the yellow one (hand hold) and it's so easy and fun to swing on" And they liked it so much that we bought another one and they let me have a turn!
