This rivals the larger named brands that have the massive influencer push in the market. Only down side is the minimum warranty of 1 year and no recipes/code included. Still testing it out, but recommend if you are just starting with your juicing journey.

    • Great Inexpensive Juicer
I bought a centrifugal juicer recently but it is messy and the pulp is very wet with lots of foam in the juice. I was looking for a cold press slow masicating juicer and love the look and function of the Nama J2. I couldn't afford the $550 price so looked for a similar alternative. Looking on amazon there are 3 to 4 similar type of juicers like this one. The reason I bought this particular one is that it has a 2 year warranty versus the others which had only 1 year or no warranties. I love this juicer. You can load all your fruits and vegetables and do other things. The discharge pulp is fairly dry. There is hardly any foam in the juice. I have juiced apples, oranges, carrots, pineapples, promegranates, jicama, zucchini, spinach, and romain lettuce. I find that if you juice hard and soft pieces together versus just one item it works better. I tried older rubbery brocolli and the motor was struggling. Had to shut it off and remove the jammed pieces. So always use fresh produce. I always cut up the produce fairly small. It fills the hopper better and the motor doesn't struggle as much. It does produce juice that has some pulp in it but straining is all it takes to remove most of it. I gave it 4 stars because I think the motor could be stronger. Cleaning is a breeze. Only 3 pieces to clean and basically just rinsing. There's a rubber flap near the pulp discharge that you pull out and you need a butter knife to remove the pulp that gets trapped in there. Only had this juicer for a month but so far it's great. It can fit small apples in 2-3 at a time. Says not to juice w/ the seeds but we haven't had an issue. The juice from a slow juicer is worlds better than a centrifugal one. Much more flavor. Clean-up is a piece of cake. Only 4 parts so takes less than 5 min to clean. ... show more

This is my first juicer, so I spent weeks researching. I chose this one because it’s a slow masticating juicer that claimed high juice yields, and it had a nice discount on prime day. After a few uses, l’m incredibly satisfied! It came assembled and it’s incredibly easy to reassemble, use and clean. Noise level is not an issue. The best part of this juicer is the high juice yield it provides. Just wow! You can see it first hand. I got a full pitcher of juice (shown) with 2 bushels of celery, 4 cucumbers, 1 package of spinach and mint, 6 green apples, 4 lemons, and 5 tbsp of minced ginger.     • Loving it - way better than my old centrifugal
This juicer blows my centrifugal juicer away! 1) This is much easier to set up & use 2) 100 x quieter than my other juicer 3) Zero mess, my other juicer spit juice out all over the counter 4) 100 x easier to dismantle & clean 5) Pulp is dry, easy to dispose, no mess 6) Juice is much better quality, clear, smooth taste (the centrifugal was 50% foam & bits) I really wanted to get into juicing when I bought my first juicer, alas, it sat on the counter collecting dust for years because it was a pain to use/clean and sooooo messy, made juicing a few bottles a 2-hour event. The footprint of this one is much more countertop friendly and pleasant to look at than my other one. This one is the same size as a blender, much nicer to look at. HOWEVER *One Con = placement of the power cord, power button and spouts, makes NO sense and totally irks my OCD. Power cord should be in the back, one spout on each side and power button in the front. Despite that, this new juicer is such a dream, I'll be using it all the time! Quick, quiet & easy. Very happy with my purchase. NOTE: I personally cut my fruit into medium size pieces, despite it saying it can handle full size, seeing the pictures of people who tried that, I don't think it's a good idea. Do yourself a favor, cut things in half. NOTE: To make clean up even easier, put one of the bags your fruit came in, in the pulp cup, when you're done juicing, just pull it out and toss it in the trash, no clean up, no mess in your trash bin. Don't ever put pulp down the drain, it will seriously mess up your garbage disposal & pipes (lessons have been learned) ... show more
