I’ve tried dozens of chorus pedals, most of them seem the same.. but I hear a real quality in this pedal.. something different. It has a crystal clear, articulate feel to it, very chimey and pretty sounding in the high registers.. This definitely is a nice pedal, it sounds clearer than others.. it doesn’t change your volume when you activate it, and when you turn the rate very fast it will sound like a Leslie Cabinet, or rotary effect. The pedal itself is gorgeous, the blue lights, the lightweight..chrome chicken head knobs.. This sounds really good, like a good,old Boss chorus, it’s deep and has a three dimensional quality like only better chorus pedals have. This is the third r series Joyo pedal I purchased,and all three were above expectations, that’s why I stay with them, they are quality, they look and sound expensive, but are reasonably priced ... show more

No frills quality chorus effect with vintage and modern options. Three dials, rate, width and depth, easy to dial in a multitude of useful sounds. Enclosure is solid and will light up when in use.

With this being a semi analog pedal this actually sounds quite good. I wanted a slight chorus effect. If you listen to this, the chorus “Wave” is a bit triangular/uneven. Not too bad though! I tried the Tone City Angel Wing and it was way too subtle. Always looking for a smooth “Wave”. The setting I used with the Joyo are pictured. The lighting is always a plus with Joyo! Amazing pedal. I never crank the settings past 50% no need to really but its the best of both worlds. You get that 70's-80's chorus and that modern chorus sound. Joyo is very underrated. If you really wanna step it up grab their reverb pedal its even better. I returned a TIMELINE pedal because that pedal was so good for the money and those pedal snob companies are just overrated in my opinion. ... show more
