The rim of seven out of twelve glasses broke off approximately 1/4” from top of glass. I’m very disappointed as I like the design but dislike the durability. It was an expensive glassware loss. I’m wondering if some of us received a defective batch?

Drinking water out of a real glass, glass just seems to make the water taste and "feel" better. These glasses have a great feel, and have a nice wide base to make it harder to tip over. I sit at a computer all day for my job, so I have a carafe filled with ice water and one of these glasses sitting next to me so I can have cool refreshing and filling water when ever I want it. These glasses just feel classy, have a nice comfortable feel to them. My only concern is that they are delicate at the top (thin glass), so I'm hoping I don't break them easily in the future. ... show more

First, these are very cool glasses and we are happy we bought them. However, they're actually too big to use for a highball type drink which is the only reason I deducted one star. These are very nice glasses. They are a great size for all beverages. We use them for our ice tea and beer. The bottom is heavy but not too heavy. I also purchased the smaller ones as well.

Overall I like them. The only thing that bugs me is that, because they are bottom heavy, they are difficult to position in the dishwasher without anchoring (which I do not have to do with other glasses).
