I remember these from my childhood so I was excited to get one for my kids.. my kids had no idea what to do with this, lol.. BUT after a few minutes and me demonstrating my 5 yr old and my 12yr old had a blast with this .. I leave it out and they randomly jump thru out the day with it.. it lights up which is fun.. if they dnt jump quite right the thing can wack u pretty hard on the ankle so u gotta kinda b coordinated.. but it’s easy fun and I still love it and I’m 43.

I unpacked this and went outside onto my kid filled street and started doing the familiar motion from my y childhood. I absolutely loved my “Skip It” and this felt the same. It was easy for me to get back into the rhythm. The neighborhood kids were intrigued, but nobody had any immediate success with the skipping motion and they all gave up. I’ll pressure my kid to keep working on it, but I’m afraid this may be a bit of a flop among the youth of my neighborhood. I found it fun and a decent cardio workout to do continuously. I also enjoyed the light up feature. I may use this as part of a quirky home workout regimen. I’m sad it wasn’t more appealing to the kids. I appreciate the padding on the ankle cuff, makes it comfortable to use. I miss the skip counter that my original 90s toy had.
