I blind bought this a couple days ago and it just arrived. I like gardenia but it’s not like I’m a gardenia lover, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from this, but I am so glad I took a chance. I got a very light whiff of gardenia on that initial spritz and then I smell honeysuckle. It smells like open windows on a spring day and the light breeze gently carries the scent of springtime into your home. I’m not sure that this would be a safe blind… It is definitely not an overpowering gardenia scent. This is more like a gentle whisper of spring. A very light sweet soap sent. But for me after that initial spritz all I smell is tuberose. And unfortunately, for me that is one of my least favorite scents. I was really hoping for that creamy sultry Gardenia mixed with some yummy delicious coconut. But, on my skin and in my nose, All I get is tuberose. Bummer. Maybe someone in my family will like it and if not, it will be a lovely air freshener. In case anyone is wondering why I gave it five stars because it is a very lovely fragrance. I remember this fragrance from my youth and decided to order it to relive my "glory days". I remember, back in the 70's , when this scent, applied sparingly, would subtly linger for hours. Unfortunately, the scent from this cologne spray evaporates pretty immediately. I've tried spraying it in my hair and on my clothing but even then, the scent goes away pretty quickly. So unfortunate.
