I wanted a pair of shoes to wear when I want to be just a shade less casual when I put aside shorts and wear long jeans. These fit the bill. The shoes are comfortable to start with and they provide just the look I wanted. When I wore them out I began getting compliments which was a surprise. The quality is excellent. In preparation for a trip to Las Vegas, I read an article in Esquire online called How to Dress in Vegas. The outfit the article suggested for daytime at the casinos included a pair of minimalist brown leather sneakers. Naturally, the specific shoes they showed were a big-name brand at a cost of $540. Hoping to find a pair of shoes that looked just like the ones in the Esquire photo, I located these Jousen casual business fashion sneakers. I was not disappointed. They look as good as the $540 shoes at only a tenth of the price. In fact, they may be the best-looking shoes I have ever owned--way classier than the Sketchers I bought a couple of years ago. It is amazing how these shoes are simultaneously dressy and casual. I was complimented on them the first day I wore them. And they are quite comfortable. This is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time.

I wear size 13 &14 depending on the manufacturer and this shoe runs small and tight. It is well made and nice looking. Just doesn't fit. Returned.

I do not understand these stellar reviews. The shoes are nice looking and yes - comfortable. The DYE they use is is cheap, cheap, cheap. Get the leather just a little wet, and the leather 'bleeds' something awful! ESPECIALLY the black. I can't be the ONLY customer with this issue?!!
