I love this sweetener! I recently started doing a low carb-low sugar diet and this has saved my iced coffee. I use a little of this syrup in the Starbucks blonde roast iced coffee from Walmart and some half and half. It’s absolutely delicious! Trust the negative reviews.
In my opinion, this has got to be the worst tasting “vanilla” syrup I’ve ever had, heck the worst syrup period I’ve ever had. I’ve tried at least 6 different sugar-free syrups. I should’ve trusted the negative reviews. I thought “how bad could it be?”. I was wrong. It is bad. There’s zero vanilla scent when you smell the open bottle. Smells like chemicals. There’s no vanilla flavor when tasting (on a spoon) or in coffee and there’s a strong chemical flavor. I honestly don’t know what is wrong with it - if it’s how they process it, or too many different “sugars”, or one of their ingredients, or what. I’m not exaggerating, or using hyperbole - I cannot finish this bottle. I’ll never purchase again. I’d rather put vanilla extract in my coffee and regular cane sugar and risk diabetes. The manufacturer can feel free to reach out to me. There’s no way their taste testers can say it tastes remotely good or like vanilla. It deserves zero stars honestly. Not for Me!
I had high hopes for this product, as I am a coffee-holic! I usually buy sugar-free creamer and like it, so I thought this would be even better, looking at the sugars and calories, but I couldn't get past the flavor. It smells good, so when I opened it, I was happy, but when I drank my coffee, it was just an odd taste. It lingers in your coffee. Must try!!
The flavor is amazing. None of that artificial aftertaste and it has worked really well in baking. The only downside is that I didn’t buy more than one bottle to start! Definitely ordering this again!!!
