I bought these for my kitchen to get things off the countertop and they are perfect. I do have 2 complaints tho ...... when attaching the wire box to the shelf, the wood split on the shelf. It is not very noticeable and I do not have a lot of weight so I think it will be okay in the long run. And the other is the wire box is bowed slightly up so things do not sit well on it. Other than those 2 items, I really like the looks and functionality of these. ... show more

The description is misleading. It is not a floating shelf. A floating shelf has no visible nails that are attached to the wall. We bought the all white shelve set that came with black screws. All white with black screws? Very irritating. What makes it even worse, the screws are round head, instead of flat head. The design is good, but it is a cheap product. So one star for the design. Similar items are in the Dollar Store for $8.00. For $28.00, you can get a nice shelf at IKEA. We should have done this. Lesson learned. We are disappointed and would not recommend the item.
