This set is much better quality than I was expecting - I'm impressed. The canvas is stretched over a wood frame and is secured to the frame very well. The printed pattern on the canvas is very clear and easy to read. Some of the numbers are fairly close together, so you just have to be careful when you paint so you can still see the numbers of the adjacent sections. The included brushes are a decent quality. However, I do a lot of paint-by-number paintings so I prefer using my own paint brushes. I've only just started painting this kit, so haven't used all the paints yet, but so far, the paint is a very good quality with good coverage. The paint pots seal well and are easy to open and snap closed. The image of the tulips is very nice and the choice of colors really go well together. I love the overall look of this design and style. The included easel is not assembled, but all the hardware is included. The easel is easy to put together. This kit does come with a small printed sheet of what the final painting will look like, BUT... it doesn't come with a sheet that shows just the outlines and the numbers - like most other paint-by-number sets do. I really wish this set came with this sheet, as some of the numbers are really close together and when you paint over one section, you really have no choice but to paint slightly over the adjacent section, and then you can't read the number so you have no idea what color to paint that section. This is especially the case in the stems of the flowers. Overall, I am very happy with the quality and style of this set. At less than $10 - this is a very affordable gift and is a fun project to work on when unwinding after a long day. PROS: - Quality canvas - Canvas on frame is very nice - Paint quality is very good, with great coverage and easy flowing paint - Included easel is nice for displaying finished painting CONS: - No printed outline sheet with numbers on it

This is an absolutely gorgeous paint-by-numbers project. How times have changed! The pattern is printed on the canvas (along with numbers relating to paint colors) simplifying the project. This company (DIY Painting By Numbers) offers a fairly large (3 1/4"x nearly 5") photo of the finished painting and a second one which shows the painting in a nearly finished condition, awaiting all the final touches which will transform the painting from a PBN to a gloriously beautiful painting. I like that! I also like the inclusion of finished sticks to make a small easel and of course, paints and brushes. What don't I like? I don't like that the finished product is only 7 12" by nearly 12". Still, it gives good practice. And maybe some day I will paint this same picture on a much larger canvas. BTW I chose the Mountain Landscape 264 and it is beautiful!

This kit comes with everything you need to complete the painting. The canvas wasn't stretched very tight on this one, which is a bit of a bummer. The paints were all in good shape though. There are a ton of tiny spaces and lines in this, so I would not recommend for beginners. I also needed to use smaller detail brushes than those provided for the small spaces/lines. The end product doesn't look nearly as detailed as the picture in the ad. The colors are lighter as well. It took me 4 hours to complete. I would not buy again.

This landscape paint by number set includes everything needed to have fun to create a painting. The set includes a stretched canvas, tubs of colorful acrylic paint, paint brushes, and a small wooden easel. I ordered the Moon Lake paint set, and I have to say I am having a lot of fun creating the painting. I have painted with a number of paint by number sets and I have enjoyed every one. I also need to let you know that it takes patience and some time to get the painting finished. I love to create the paintings during bad weather (rain & snow) when I won't be going anywhere anyway. I find it relaxing. These sets come nicely boxed, and they are giftable. I really like this paint set and I recommend it to you.

This paint by numbers kit is a great way to unwind and enjoy a creative activity. The canvas is durable, well-framed, and easy to work with, and the included easel is nice to paint on. The paints are decent, and the numbered sections are clearly marked. It is easy to follow along and see progress with each session. The brushes work well but aren't the best quality.
