If you’re needing a boat cover to keep out dust, bugs, leaves, etc while storing your boat under a carpet or lean-to, this is it. If you’re storing your boat in full sun I would look elsewhere. Make sure you have some internal framing & always keep the straps tight and *weight bags hanging* to keep tension across the surface. The material is not very thick & will tear under compounded pooling water weight I learned. Worked great for a year otherwise - got 16 ft for my 14 + 2 ft of motor.

The fit was very nice on my 12' Sea Nymph, and easy install. But after two months in the sun, the material felt toasted and once it got rained on, the water puddled, causing a rip in the cover. Wish it had lasted at least throughout the winter, but it didn't even hold up to the rain or sun.

If there is not a pitch the water will accumalate on the top and weigh the tarp down. If there are any sharp areas this will get snagged and rip...a good ways. Lasted less then 2 months.
