I read dozens of reviews before purchasing this comforter set and I have come to the conclusion that reviews that say “I love it” or “It’s just what I wanted” are of no help at all. Here’s what I wanted to know when I started reading: Is the color described correctly? Well I ordered the color Green and I can say that it basically looks like the picture. I would call it a Sage Green, but it is not dark in color and basically looks like a soft Sage Green. Does it look cheap? Well the price is relatively cheap so if you are expecting to see a luxurious comforter you will be disappointed, but I do feel you get your money’s worth in this comforter. Actually I think it looks more expensive than it costs. How is the weight? It is a lightweight comforter but I find it is adequate for all seasons. If I want to add a blanket to my bed in winter, I will do so. What is included in the set? A sheet set with pillowcases. A comforter and two shams. My bed is a Queen size but I ordered a King Comforter set. Yes, I can’t use the sheet set and yes, the King pillow shams look ridiculous on a queen bed, but I feel the Queen size would not hang over the sides far enough. The jury is still out on whether buying a King size for a Queen bed is the prudent thing to do. All in all I am happy with my purchase. I included photos and I feel that the photos show the true green color. It is a light Sage Green and looks great with my Seafoam wall paint. I haven’t washed my comforter so I can’t comment on the wash ability.
