As a parent, you quickly realize you just need a safe, comfortable spot to put the baby down for a few minutes while you grab a coffee or fold laundry. This Joehea lounger has been exactly that for us. We bought this recently for our newborn, and it’s already one of our most-used baby items. Why We Love It: Portability is Key: This thing is incredibly light (under 2 lbs). I can easily carry it from the living room to the kitchen with one hand while holding the baby in the other. We travel quite a bit, and this is definitely coming with us on our next trip because it’s so much easier to pack than a bulky bouncer. Dual-Function Pad: The "dual-function" design is actually really smart. One side feels a bit cozier and softer, while the other offers slightly firmer support, so you can switch it up depending on what your baby prefers. Machine Washable (Huge Plus!): Babies are messy. The fact that the pad is fully removable and machine washable is non-negotiable for me. We've already had a spit-up incident, and the cover washed up perfectly without shrinking or losing its softness. Safe & Secure: The sides are nice and high, so I feel confident that the baby is snug and won't roll out. (Note: We obviously only use this for supervised lounging, not overnight sleep, but it's perfect for that). Verdict: If you need a portable, easy-to-clean spot for your little one to lounge in while you get things done nearby, this is a fantastic value. I just purchased this, and like many others I question the quality va price paid. There's two washable covers, but not for the pad where the baby will be in contact with most. The foam comes vacuum sealed. So you'll need to let it expand. The next review after I use with my newborn who will be born soon (I'm at work 40!). If the baby seems happy, no reflux and no sliding down like others mention, I'd happily bump my review to 5 stars, because ultimately I am looking fot an alternative to just lying flat on the bedside bassinet, and this is really soft, and it has a decent angle. ... show more
