The fabric in these "Opaque" compression knee-highs by Jobst is very smooth and sturdy. In comparison, the less expensive "Relief" stockings by Jobst are more stiff and rough. The foot portion is long enough for size 10 feet to be comfortable. I'm going to be switching all my "Opaque" open-toe style stockings to this closed-toe style since they don't ride up and bind my instep like the open-toe version does. The fabric lasts a very long time without getting runs like the more sheer stockings do. At $40 a pair, they are expensive but they last a longer time and are more comfortable too. They look more like regular opaque knee-highs than support hose--which is a nice bonus. ... show more

U really love these, they provide a lot of support without cutting of your blood supply. I was wearing them when I went to see my podiatrist last time. He was worried about that but when he checked on them that he thought they were good. What I especially like is the defined heel which is not in any others that I tried/used. So I definitely recommend this -- especially the heel. Has factors about them which are usually found only in the maximum strength which aren't appropriate/safe for home use. Wonderful. ... show more

The size is exactly what I need. It covers my calf with no bunching. Unfortunately the sheer fabric is ineffective for my medical needs and does not provide the support I need. My doctor had advised me to buy the lowest level compression then gradually step up to firmer support. This is the second pair I bought and should provide more support than the Fytto's I am stepping up from but they do not. They offer slightly more support than regular knee highs. ... show more

My wife wore size medium for several years and changed to large the past couple years. My recent order was for her and 2 pair of size large. However, as seen in the photo, there is a significant length difference from the heel to the top of the band (the black is the large I just ordered and the beige is the large I ordered previously & from Amazon as well). They are not supposed to be returnable but customers shouldn't have to pay for such a big difference in size. I cannot use the black ones and it's nearly impossible to maneuver the website to request a refund or exchange that is due to manufacturer error. ... show more

Super tight, was difficult to get on and off but I had a mild sprain and drop foot making it difficult to wear this. Once on it seemed to help with the swelling in my foot.
