Years and years ago I used to wear different perfumes…. I had a girlfriend that used a Jo Malone perfume that I loved and she wore it every day. I came to the conclusion that I wanted a “signature scent”. A scent I could wear every day, casual or formal, that just spoke to me and felt like “me”. I FOUND THAT SCENT IN THE DARK AMBER AND GINER LILY perfume. I am not kidding when I tell you I have worn that scent every single day for probably 16 years now. People compliment me all the time on it. But more than anything I feel like it is totally me and I don’t feel ANY need to every change it. My husband loves it and would weird out if I wore anything else. I love all Jo Malone products, lotions, oils, candles,…and when I buy those I change and mix my scents. But…. It smells ok. For the price it seems off. The bottle I received has no label and is made of a different kind of glass than my other Jo Malone fragrances. The scent doesn't last very long or have the potency of my other Jo Malone scents either. Would not buy again.

This product is very reputable.i have used it for twenty years. I have never known any of these scents to “go off”. Somehow this bottle has developed a sour and unpleasant odor. A huge waste of money! I don’t know what the source was for the purchase but I won’t buy this product on Amazon again.

I have purchased Jo Malone in the past, and my expectation was that the perfume would come in a perfume box, but it did not. The perfume was wrapped in one layer of bubble wrap — not beautifully in the box as the main photo represents. Not worth it to order when it doesn’t come “complete” with box AND other purchasing locations usually send it beautifully gift wrapped WITH lots of samples.
