I bought this item as a birthday gift for my daughter. I was distraught upon seeing the bare content of the packaging. Anyone in his right mind would arguably say that this isn’t the original Jo Malone perfume. I checked the return process but to my dismay, the item isn’t returnable for reasons I don’t know. The scent is completely different from the original blackberry and bay perfume by Jo Malone. This perfume is too musky and the woodsy undertone is the main scent when it shouldn't be. I can't even smell the blackberry when it should be the topnote. The fragrance doesn't even last on my skin for more than 10 minutes when the original would last for hours. The top to the bottle is tarnished a slight yellow and the perfume itself is a faded yellow when it should be clear. The label on this bottle is completely different from the original Jo Malone label. I won't be purchasing from here again. Edit... After doing some research, the perfume that was sent to me was originally from Dillard's. I've bought Jo Malone from Dillard's before but they have changed their labels since then which explains the different look. However, the cap was still tarnished and the perfume is less potent. I believe the perfume wasn't stored correctly and the quality of the perfume was impacted. Perfume has alcohol in it but they can still expire. You can tell if your perfume has gone bad if it doesn't last as long or the scent changes. Fortunately, the seller did refund me once I contacted them and returned the perfume. ... show more
