Recently retired, I decided to change my wardrobe to something simpler and more consistent, which would eliminate daily wardrobe decision-making. I opted for track suits in one or two colors, specifically Adidas, along with matching shoes or flip flops (if I remembered to trim my toenails in the last six months). So, the decision was made: Adidas track suits it is. After a short period, I realized I would need a second suit, so I planned on dropping another $100. I found a great deal and ordered an Adidas suit for half the price I would normally pay. However, when it arrived in the mail, I noticed something was off. Wait a minute! There were only two stripes instead of three. Still, the quality was very good, so I kept it. Would anyone really notice the absence of the third stripe? I didn’t notice when I bought it. Soon after, it was time to purchase another tracksuit, and I came across a different company offering an entire track suit for just a little over $20. Wow! But then doubt crept in. With only one stripe, what else could be wrong with them? When I received the suit in the mail, I realized nothing was wrong; in fact, it was quite the opposite. They were of great quality, a great fit, and at a fantastic price with fast shipping. That day, I learned I had been paying for two extra stripes that I didn’t need. Three stripes didn’t make me run faster, workouts easier, or make me look better, even though one could hope. Adidas produces a good product, but if you are on a tight budget and want the same quality minus the two extra stripes, you have other options available.

My son needed it for a Halloween costume, but likes the fit so much he’s wearing it all year. He got the white set. He is 6’3”, 180 pounds, with long arms and legs ( he’s a 35in sleeve and 34 in pant length for reference) He really likes the regular/ slightly loose fit, and the length is perfect, hanging below the ankle. Game changer for me, since buying him pants that fit is a nightmare. Probably buying another set. And no complaints about being see through ( he would tell me if they were ). He hasn’t washed them yet
