I bought a pair of these sneakers for my 12-year-old son. He has quite large feet for his age, and finding comfortable, durable shoes can be a real challenge. We had previously purchased the blue colorway of this same style, and it was such a hit that we had to get another other pair! The biggest selling point for him (and me!) is the convenience. They are so easy to put on – no tedious lace-tying needed, which he loves. But more importantly, he says they are incredibly soft and comfortable. The upper is eondham is breathable mesh, and the entire sole, especially the cushioned air-pocket heel, feels very plush. He uses them for everything, from just walking around to all-day sports. He's been extremely happy with them. The new Black/Red colorway (pictured) is super sharper, and the build quality feels robust, just like the blue ones. I bought these & a second pair of shoes at the end of December, the price caught my eye, it seemed to be at least $10 cheaper then name brand shoes. I have a very active 6 year old who is always outside & exploring and we’re always on the hunt for a durable, stylish & comfortable shoes ! After about a month of wear the little piece holding the strings together fell off. We improvised & tied them off at the top to continue use. Two months in the side rubber started to rip in places. The tread also flattened down & was smooth. These guys made it 5 months before beginning to peel back from the sole & needing to be thrown out. I think overall the quality has room for improvement.
