This is a nice little trim router, that comes with a lot of extras. I was very happy to see they included extra brushes in the box, but not just one extra set, there were three sets. The fence fits well, one negative is I would have put a slot on the screw to hold it. Lots of nice little bits with it. Then we get to start up, when you turn it on, it has a nice soft start up as it gets up to speed, unlike old routers that wanted to jump out of your hand on start up. I will have to give it a while to see how long a set of brushes runs, but overall, I am very happy with this little trim router.

I should begin this review by saying that I was unable to test the functionality of this router (more on that below). I did turn it on and it seems to spin at a high RPM, but I can't confirm how well it will route workpieces. A few specific thoughts: The good: - This router is currently priced at $45.94 and there is a 20% off coupon that brings this price down to $36.75. This is a good deal when compared to similar products that cost $50-75. - The overall build quality of the router itself seems good. The guide that comes with the router should allow for precise routing and I believe that there is a lot of potential in this tool (particularly for users who are learning to use a router for the first time). The bad: - The bits that I received were not the same as the ones in the product pictures. Not only did they not match (see the attached pictures), but the dovetail bit was missing and had been replaced by a cove and bead bit. This gave the impression of a "mix and match" set of bits rather than a consistent standard. - The packaging overall was a bit of a mess (though this can probably be excused at this price point). - Lastly, but most importantly, the collet did not hold the bits. As you can see in the attached picture, the collet is not slotted so that it will contract when the nut is tightened. The result is that it never clamps down on the bits and they all simply fall out of the chuck no matter how hard you tighten it. I contacted customer support about this and they were helpful, but were not able to provide a replacement for my evaluation product, so I was not able to test the actual functionality of the router. Overall, this would be a decent trim router for a new woodworker, but only if the collet functions correctly.
