I didn't get this in time for Christmas, but decided to go ahead and open it up and see how it looks. I received it for free from Amazon Vine in return for an honest review. Thoughts: - NOT a single strand. Two exactly 25 foot strands (so I doubt it was some kind of accidental separation). That can end being a plus or a minus, but it was listed as a single strand is all. - Bright color. The color (gold) is definitely the standout point, and after all, that is the point of garland, to look good! - Does shed a bit. Lost 6 individual threads when I took it out, and a few more when I measured it out. - Stinks. Strong chemical smell when taken out. - Wish the plastic bag was resealable... garland seems to be the one item you really want to be able to store back in a small space. - Soft and flexible makes it feel like it'll be fairly durable. I also fiddled around with the central strand cord, and it bends easily and feels to have a decent width... so I wouldn't fear it breaking too easily. I figured without looking that $15 was a bit high. But it actually looks like it compared pretty well on price? Overall, I like it, and will plan to use it next Christmas season in my decorations. The smell and storage are minor things that will pass. And the dropping strands don't seem excessive. Yet it's vibrantly colorful (much more so that the gold garlands I remember us having when I was a kid), and at what seems like a good price. So I'd recommend it and definitely consider buying it in the future if the price proves solid at the time. ... show more

I wasn't sure how much I would like the pattern on this garland, but wow I absolutely love it. And everyone who saw it was absolutely in love with it. This garland is not cheap, it is thick and it does not leave metallic shreds everywhere. Very thick and high quality, and beautiful. Buy it, you will not be disappointed. ... show more

This came vacuum sealed and I was afraid it would demolish the fluffiness. It worked in a pinch this last Christmas, but I think I will look for a fluffier and thicker garland for next year

When it arrived, I was a bit shocked by how this garland was packaged. It was vacuum sealed in a tight 8 x 10" bag. I wasn't expecting this to pop out into a nice string of garland. It took a few runs through the hands and fingers to get the garland to pop open, but after that it looked great. The total length is 50', but is divided into 2 runs. It was a bit cumbersome to get out of the package because it's not really spooled onto anything, so it took a little bit of untangling. Even after using this for the season, it's holding up well and didn't shed a bunch of tinsel pieces. Now if only I could pack it up again the way I got it, I could save a bunch of storage space. Guess it's time to look for a food storage vacuum sealer on Amazon... ... show more

I chose these to add some festivity to several shelves at a gathering over the Holidays. I have to admit to being surprised with the packaging: It arrives vacuum-sealed flat in an envelope. I wasn’t sure whether or not breaking the seal would result in a magical experience of gold color, shimmering reflections and sparkles or nothing but a small hiss…and…. It was uneventful. Still, though, it resulted in 50’ of good quality garland, which was really what I was expecting when I ordered it in the first place. It’s neither the thickest nor the thinnest garland, but it was among the shiniest, so I’m happy with the choice. Really, though, the pop and circumstance would have been awesome. ... show more

I really like it, I love the color, the gold really ads to the environment. I like that it's reusable, and it seemed to hold up fairly well. I got this after I removed our tree, but it comes in an airtight package and when opened it feels like real tinsel, and for the price you just can't beat it.
