I have slept with it on, showered with it on, washed my hands repeatedly with it on, and still have not had any reaction to it. It also looks the same, no tarnishing.....I have been wearing a simple bracelet made from this chain. I have a severe metal allergy, and am allergic to most metals. I can strip gold electro plating from cheap metals in as little as a couple of days and my skin will develop what looks like a burn mark where the metal touches my skin. Unfortunately, these chains and clasps are worthless. It's tarnished and brown within a few hours of wear. I am beyond disappointed. Please, do not waste your money. I'll be throwing all of these away since I waited well past the return date to use them.
