Classic cry baby wah, what else can you say?! These are heavy duty and built like tanks, they will last! But be prepared for your pedalboard to get much heavier. A design flaw though, is the DC power input is recessed into the chassis so certain power cables (voodoo labs) will need to be occasionally pressed back into the power input. I know the truetone power cables will fit perfectly snug though, so consider that when building your pedalboard. ... show more

This is the second, Cry Baby Wah Wah Standard Model, pedal that I have received from Amazon. I sent the first one back and this new one arrived just three days later. The first one did not cry at all. A total sleeper. Boosted sound, but no cry. This second one cry's like a Baby very well. I just hope it does not keep me up at night. In the end, I am very happy and satisfied with this product. The second time around was golden. Apparently, some baby's cry and some do not. This one reminds my of my daughter when she was a baby. Glad those days are over. ... show more

    • An expensive brick?

Tried multiple different batteries, cords, and amp settings. Absolutely no effect on the signal passed through to my Frontman speaker. Is there something I'm missing here? A hidden "on" switch or something? Or is this an expensive brick that I need to send back? UPDATE: It turns out it was "off" the whole time. It turns on/off by pressing the toe end and feeling for a click. That's great news, but I had to figure it out on my own as there was no documentation in the box, and this is my first-ever effect pedal so I was a bit clueless. Overall it's a fun pedal for casual use, although it does occasionally pick up local radio stations in the background. I'll have to work on a solution for that issue next... ... show more
