These shoes were great for walking around the rocky area around the lake with the pups (second picture). I didn't feel discomfort as I have with other water shoes, as these shoes have an actual sole. They were great as well for kayaking which my feet did get wet, and the shoes have dried out nicely. 😀 My only complaint is pebbles finding their way in, but can't really fault the show for that, as the design is like a closed toe sandle. I have worn these shoes at the dog park (no photo) which has a lot of sand, it reminds me of a beach environment and these shoes I won't wear again to the dog park. 😉 Sizing : I wear a 9.5-10 wide in regular shows. I went with a size 10 and don't have any issues.

I work out in the water 5 days a week and l love these. Great support and cushioning in and out of the water. Straps can get scratchy sometimes.

The suggestion is that they run large so consider sizing down. I'm normally a women's size 8 but ordered 7 1/2. They fit fine with the 1/2 size down, but I wouldn't go further down than that.
