Seems to be well built/ designed however mine arrived with the box. It was shipped in damaged. It was noted that it was damaged by the carrier items might be missing so far the only thing I’ve noticed that was “missing” was flat washers and the assembly instructions Apparently they don’t think it needs flat washers but I think they do so I made a quick trip to the hardware store and got enough to do the job. There was also what I think was over spray on the axle end making it difficult to install the castle nuts. There are several videos on you tube I’d probably buy again if I couldn’t find a used one on marketplace all I’m using it for is a fishing kayak but I could see a small John boat too. I had to get a trailer because at my age wrestling 100+ pound kayak on top of my new car is no longer an option. It was different when I had a pick up truck.     • Poor response from Amazon and Northern tool
Trailer would have met my needs but came with damaged box and missing parts which are not available until fall. I have been going back and forth with Amazon abnd Northern Tool for days without much success. Use caution if purchasing this item.

    • Good product, but....
I like this product and it doesn't take too long to put it together. Great value. On the other hand, getting the trailer registered (like in Florida) is nearly impossible without a 'Manufacturer's Statement of Origin' from the company which they insist was in the box (wasn't) and I have requested numerous times to no avail. One phone call got through to them and was told just to show the MVD prove of purchase (from Amazon) and that will be all the MVD will need. Nonsense. ... show more

This is a KIT. The product images all show a completed trailer, but you'll receive two large boxes of trailer parts and a poorly written owner's manual. But after 10 hours, final product is working well, so 4 stars.
