I’ve had these for about a week- will update if anything changes but They fit well, true to size, I ordered an 8.5 bc I’m an 8 in converse and 8.5 in hey dudes and I probably could’ve ordered an 8. They work well, I’m a beginner but my sister wore them and she’s really experienced and she said they feel high quality (I’m probably going to order some for her) my feet definitely hurt after but I think it’s because I’m so awkward in them. They roll well on asphalt and even better on concrete (watch out for pebbles though obviously) I’ve only fallen a few times and they were pretty graceful so I am unsure of the durability of the velvet, although a few scuffs are visible but they buff out with a few hand swipes. The color is SO CUTE I’m a turquoise girl. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on how cute they are. Ankle support is good, I don’t feel like I’m gonna roll my ankle or anything. PROS Nice, stable boot. Material is better quality than I was expecting. Long laces. Solid truck and good bearings with two extra. Comes with a skate tool (one small con with this listed below). Flashing wheels made me stand out at the roller rink! CONS Skate tool doesn’t adjust the truck. The wheels are fun but not great quality. I highly suggest you keep these for indoor skating and get more fitting wheels for outdoor. PERSONAL CON The boot is a bit wide for my foot so be mindful if you have a narrower foot and are a beginner as your foot will move around too much inside the skate. Make sure you’re lacing tighter and/or wearing thicker socks.

I ordered these for my pre-teen granddaughter as the rink rent skates are clunky and not the cleanest. These are great- lightweight, well made, comfortable for the first wearing and the light up wheels make them extra special on the dimly lit rinks. She can practice skating on my tile floors and her wood floors at home. Her skating skills went from 33% struggle to smooth confident sailing when she wore them at the big rink. I also ordered these for my two middle school grandsons and they're having a wonderful time as the wheels make maneuvering corners and speed skating much easier. They're affordable and well made so as their feet grow we can just order new boots to attach to the existing trucks. Best purchases I made for this Christmas.

They roll nicely, fit perfectly, and you can get some really good speed with these things. I definitely recommend these skates for beginners! Still learning but ready for more practice!
